Love Letter to Myself

I’m not in the practice of writing love letters to myself but I’m considering making it one. The times when things don’t go exactly as I want race to the forefront of my mind but those aha moments of quiet contentment often get tucked away out of “conscious” sight.

I recently discovered this love letter to myself by accident (while looking for something else of course) and was blown away by 2008 Caren’s wisdom. What a gift it was to receive my own powerful, wonderful, words of encouragement four years later.

Dearest C,
What great strides you are making. You see so much around you. Your light shines bright other are drawn to you. Be a force of action, take what you see and create with it. Do it for the joy, anything else that comes will be icing on the cake.
Let critics have their say, those are their fears not yours. Leave them to their own negativity.
Always know the power of choice and your inner peace. Create from that place. See, hear, touch, smell, experience life fully every day. Your muses are all around you for the taking, TAKE my Dream Searcher. Take your new eyes and SEE the world.
Always,
Aha-phrodite

I’m so glad I wrote this letter. So glad that all my positive energy lived on. Now, I’m determined to write a love letter to myself a couple times a year. I'm putting them in a notebook of their own so that I can easily find and read them whenever I want.

How about you? Do you want to create a powerful, positive memory by writing a love letter to yourself? The GOOD in you is waiting to be seen, acknowledged, and appreciated. Write it down. Start by remembering the compliments and nice things people say about you. From there let it lovingly flow. Go on, gush, no one HAS to see it but you!

But, if you want to share yours, my eyes, ears, and heart are wide open (caren.albers@gmail.com).
Write on,
Caren
